So if you have five hundred thousand people (I'm just throwing a number out there) who have anticipated and want this game, and you sell the game for $10 (the usual price for a PSN game), then you can make a good flow of cash. There's lots of people (including me) who would love to play this game, but not to pay an extra $200+ just to play this one game.

Money talks and marketers could take a glance at the possibilities. It just means that they could look into it.īesides, there could be an incentive to port it for the PS3. I also found something that might enlighten some people, but at the same time give false hope: "Don't have an Xbox 360 but still want to play Castle Crashers? I overheard Tom saying there's no reason the title couldn't come out for whatever platform Sony has up their sleeve." ( he-castle-crashers-test/) Now that doesn't immediately confirm that CC is coming out for the PSN.
#When did castle crashers come out ps3
But if they do port it then they shouldn't just throw it on the PS3 (if you get what I mean).

It's a simple-looking game so it's not like they're pushing the hardware in any way. They made Alien Hominid for the PS2 and Xbox, so I don't see why they won't be able put it onto the PS3. So porting the game shouldn't take long, or cost that much. That means: planning, coding, testing, and finalizing the game. It took two years for it to go onto XBL, it would take probably two more years to post it onto PSN.
